I noticed something that bothered me the other day – my deodorant is actually an antiperspirant. So, I checked and surely, so was my wife’s.
Conference time.
I began with, ‘do you remember our little conference several years ago about the ill-effects of antiperspirants?’ Well, she forgot and it’s not like the manufacturer’s are helping. It is incredibly hard to find antiperspirant. Jul went shopping today and found 1 for ladies and only 2 for men. Nevertheless, we feel it’s worth the hunt.
It goes a little something like this: antiperspirants use aluminum, aluminum is an neurotoxin. Translation: neurotoxins are toxins (poisons) that damage or destroy nerve tissues. There have been many hints and studies attempting to link antiperspirants to breast cancer and Alzheimer’s.
My take on this as with anything: aluminum salts stop your sweat glands from performing their function – to sweat and did I mention they are poisonous?
Frankly, I don’t use deodorant regularly, so this information will benefit you more than me I hope. The bottom line, we have a lot of poisons in our environment in an attempt to create Utopia. No sweat, no stink, no weeds, no ants, no rust, and on and on.
In the last 30 years cancers, mental health issues and allergies have been on the rise, while we have increased our arsenal of chemicals to store and spray all around us. Then we went out to our favorite home improvement stores and loaded up on double/triple pane windows and caulk to seal ourselves in with this stuff.
Just a thought to share with you about your environment and the neurotoxins, psychotic dugs and other detrimental items pushed on us by the FDA, pharmaceuticals and retailers. All in the name of good health, happy lawns and well, profits.
