How small was your world before the internet? The reach of the internet is still unbelievable for me. Even if you only use it to communicate with family across town, it has likely enhanced your life and communications.
For me, it has opened up national and even global opportunities that could not have happened just 10 years ago.
In the past couple of weeks, our web design firm responsible for funding the startup of LifeMAPP - has completed projects in Estonia (I had to look it up too), Barbados, Australia and of course, all over the US. Dealing with that many time zones can make you dizzy - at least it does for me. But how cool is it to interact with such a variety of cultures? Well, for a sociologist, it’s pretty cool.
As for LifeMAPP and life coaching, I still mostly coach those from all over the US and all walks of life and situations, but I’ve recently been able to dabble in the UK and cannot wait until I have done seminars globally. Certainly, few expected that kind of accomplishment from a poor rural/farm kid from the Ohio Valley. And yet it’s all happening because of the internet.
And the people who contact me through this personal blog/website are pretty intriguing too and are sure to expand my knowledge and reach. One such person is a psychologist from New York who contacted me last week. She runs an impressive website about the joys and philosophies of raising children. So stay posted as later this week I will interview her right here and get you linked up to a great, enlightening website.
The internet – gotta love it.

How exciting! I expect big things to happen for you in the very near future, and I am excited.
I always love to read your articles, some may say I am prejudice, however, I believe in what you are doing.
